Where this data comes from
Standings, schedules, drafts, and lineups were pulled directly from the ESPN and Sleeper APIs โ server records, not recalculations. Every scrape's raw JSON is archived. Validation: standings records match game-by-game results for all 112 manager-seasons, champions are cross-checked against playoff brackets, and a 2014 ESPN recap email verified box scores independently.
The missing years: 2009โ2011
The league started in 2009 on ESPN under a different league ID. When we moved to a new ESPN league for 2012, the old one stopped being renewed โ and ESPN eventually purged it. The ID survives in an old invite email (819176), but ESPN's servers return nothing for it, and the Wayback Machine has no copies. Those three seasons currently exist only in memory and trash talk.
You can help: search your oldest email for messages from

before 2012. The weekly "E-mail Report" recaps contain full box scores โ with enough of
them, those seasons can be rebuilt week by week.
Known caveats
- Pre-2018 lineup data covers starters only (ESPN kept nothing else).
- Pre-2019 ESPN playoff rounds are recorded as round totals (some spanned two weeks).
- ESPN-era transactions (2012โ2021) were purged by ESPN โ transaction history starts 2022.
- Two Sleeper season point totals differ from summed weeklies by โค15 pts (late stat corrections).
- Scoring rules changed over the years (PPR arrived in 2017) โ compare across eras with care.
- Keepers (2020โ2025) aren't flagged by either platform's API; the site flags them by roster-continuity detection (๐), which the league is reviewing. In 2020โ21, rounds 1โ3 were keeper slots, and draft-slot numbers for those seasons use the reconstructed rounds-4+ order.
